CONGRATULATIONS to Amber Thompson and Hadley Rahael! They each won their age group in the CEA Junior Jumping Trials and will form Team T&T for the Barbados and Grand Cayman upcoming legs of this competition.
The under-14 category was won by Hadley Rahael, riding the borrowed horse “Miramis”. Rahael proved once again that she is T&T’s top under-14 rider, with two lovely clear rounds, and zero faults. Rahael at just 13 years of age shows much promise in stepping up to the challenge in future competitions.
In the under-16 category, the challenging mounts “Audacity to Hope” and “Mr. Wings” were ridden alternately by Adelle Stollmeyer and Amber Thompson. These young riders have always challenged each other, in offering keen competition, and after the day’s competition it was Thompson who took the lead, ending with just 4 faults, and earning her spot on the team and the right to represent T&T yet again in this important regional competition.
