Criteria for Participating in TTEA Sponsored Clinics
Precedence for Clinics will be given in the following order :
- Coaches
- Accelerated Training Program Riders
- Horse Owners
- Riders who lease horses
- Riders that compete on riding school horses
- Riders must be competing and should have ridden in at least two competitions in the last 12 months.
- If oversubscribed, riders in higher levels will get precedence over riders in the lower levels.
- Riders who are team members or potential team members will get precendence over riders who are still developing in that area. Developing riders can be helped by our local coaches.
- For jumping clinics, riders must be secure in jumping and can canter confidently on both reins.
- Horses must be warmed up before their clinic lesson starts.
- Stables/Riders must assist with transportation of the clinician between stables and accommodation.
- Riders and their coaches are responsible for tracking the time for their clinic lesson. A rider is liable to pay extra if a lesson goes beyond 15 minutes over the allotted time.
